Compass Collaboration
Sambourne CE Primary school works in close partnership with other local authority maintained schools in the Warminster area. Together we have formed the Compass Collaboration to support and challenge each other in order to maximise outcomes for all. This partnership supports our schools while ensuring each maintains their independence and can focus on meeting the bespoke needs of their local communities. The schools have worked closely together to form shared core principles and priorities in order to develop greater opportunities for collaboration between professionals, staff and pupils to enhance the curriculum and maximise learning.
Compass schools hold a number of activities and events throughout the year to encourage pupil collaboration and inter-school competition. From the Compass Pupil Council, Pupil Sports Council and combined choir to sportin events and competitions such as football, dodgeball, SEN Bocchia and new age kurling, there are opportunities for everyone to enjoy.
