As many of you will have heard UKHSA have today issued a yellow weather warning for heat from tomorrow lunchtime until the end of the weekend for the South West of England. We continue to monitor the situation and are currently putting together plans to mitigate the impact this could have on our planned sports day on Friday afternoon.

We hope to be able to run the event as we know the children are looking forward to it and many of you have taken time off of work. However, should the alert be upgraded to Amber or our risk assessment show that it is unsafe to continue with the event we will let you know as soon as possible. 

Can we also take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of the children applying sun cream before coming to school and ensuring they have both a sun hat or cap and water bottle in school throughout the summer months.
